Malabrigo: Ultimate Sock

Malabrigo Ultimate Sock takes everything you love about Malabrigo Sock and adds a little extra durability. Made with 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon, it’s soft, colorful, and strong enough to handle the everyday wear that comes with a favorite pair of socks.

Of course, socks aren't the only thing you can make with it! This fingering-weight yarn is also great for shawls, scarves, lightweight sweaters, baby knits, gloves, and anything else that could use a bit of extra strength. With 420 yards per skein, there's plenty of yarn to get started on your next project.

Yardage: Approximately 420 yards per 100g skein. One skein is usually enough for a pair of socks.

Gauge: 7.5–8 stitches per inch on US 1–3 needles (2.25–3.25 mm). Your gauge may vary depending on the project.

Suggested hook: US B-1 to E-4 (2.25–3.5 mm).

Care: Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and lay flat to dry. We recommend hand washing when possible to help your knits last longer.

A note about color: Malabrigo yarn is hand-dyed, so every skein is a little different. Colors may vary from the photos, and skeins in the same colorway can look different from one another. For a more even look, try alternating between two skeins every few rows, especially when knitting a larger project.
