Shipping & Returns
Absolutely! Our retail shop in downtown Portland is open! We'll send you a notification when your order is ready!
We do our best to get your order packed and on its way within 48 hours of receiving it. During busy times—like sales or special events—it might take a little longer. We ship everything via USPS Ground or Priority Mail. As soon as your shipping label is printed, you’ll get an email with your tracking number. Just a heads-up: it can take up to 24 hours for tracking to show updates.
Because we custom-cut fabric just for you, we don’t accept returns on fabric. The only exceptions are rare cases where we made a mistake—like sending the wrong fabric or cutting your yardage short. If that happens, please email us right away at hi@thepurlingpigeon.com so we can fix it! And unfortunately if you select to have your yarn wound it is final sale.
We’re not able to accept returns for things like color differences (screens can be sneaky!) or if you simply change your mind. Thanks so much for your understanding and support!
